    Perth Airport Car Rental

Perth Airport is located along the western coast of Australia, about 10 km from the city centre, and with its 15 million passengers every year represents the fourth most important in the country.

The black swan is its symbol, due to the presence (in close proximity to it) of a pond inhabited for decades by these splendid birds, that attracts tourists and inhabitants.

The airport manages mainly internal flights, guaranteeing continuous connections to Sidney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane, whereas the main international flights are those which connects Perth to Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai or Auckland. There are no flights from Europe, so a route from this continent implies intermediate stops. Perth Airport has 4 terminals linked by a shuttle service running every 20 minutes. Generally, the international flights land at the T1, which is also the largest area in the airport, where many facilities for the passengers are available. In particular, there are various lounge areas, shops, banks and relax areas. The whole airport is covered by a free Wi-Fi connection, exploitable after the registration to the service.

The city centre is easily reachable in about 20 minutes, following the driving directions, thanks to the rental car picked up directly at Perth Airport and booked on RentalUp before departure.

    Perth: points of interest

Perth is a big and lively city, rich in bars and trendy shops, but is also characterised by another soul, equally attractive, represented by a lush nature that finds expression on the wide beaches and in the city parks, which are large and rich in flora and fauna.

Thanks to the car rental service from Perth Airport you can reach the Kings Park which, for example, occupies a large area in the city centre and preserves trees with a long trunk, bridges, landscaped gardens and bars in which to refuel after a long walk. It is a place where to pleasantly spend an entire day. Moreover, from the Kings Park, you can enjoy a beautiful view over the Swan River, the river of the city, and over the skyscrapers surrounding it. Within it, you can also find an interesting museum dedicated to the Aboriginal art, the Aboriginal Art Gallery, and a splendid botanic garden. If you love the great heights, you cannot give up a walk along the Lotterywest Federation Walkaway, a bridge with glass walls which flanks the branches of the trees, an undoubtedly exciting experience.

Taking advantage of the car rental service from Perth Airport, you can return to the city centre, which is not too big and can be easily visited walking along the main streets: St. Georges Terrace, Murray Street and Hay Street, rich in shops, bars, fast food restaurants and malls. One of the most beautiful areas in the city, however, is Elizabeth Quay, the modern district of the harbour overlooking the river and giving its visitors great emotions by day, but above all by night, when the city lights are turned on.

Moreover, there are the beautiful beaches of Perth, overlooking the Indian Ocean, inviting you to practice the most popular sport in this area: surf. Miles and miles of soft and golden sand on which enjoy the magnificent Australian sun. The most beautiful beaches are in Cottesloe and Scarborough, but, obviously, they are the most crowded ones.
