The San Ciriaco Cathedral dominates the promontory that stretches out to the sea and offers a panoramic view of the port and the Adriatic. Descending towards the seafront you find the Passetto beach, set among the rocks, and the characteristic port district with its fresh fish trattorias.

A few kilometres south, the Conero Riviera surprises with the coves of Sirolo and Numana and the transparent waters of the nature park. With a rental car you can also reach Loreto and the Frasassi Caves in less than an hour.
