Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport
Pisa Airport is the main in Tuscany and it registers every year an ever-increasing passengers traffic. It is situated in San Giusto and it is also known as Galileo Galilei Airport, in honour of the astronomer and physicist, father of the modern science.

The road to get into the city is surrounded by nature and leads to the historical centre, characterised by the presence of 6 monuments, such as the Town Hall Palace, the Shrine of SS.mo Crocifisso, Torre di Matilde di Canossa and Torre di Federico II.
San Miniato is a really important economic centre in this area: it is famous for the production of leather, wine, oil and white truffles.
